TREVI FOUNTAIN
Trevi fountain or in Italian called Fontana di Trevi, is a
fountain in Trevi, Rome, Italy. In Italy, Trevi Fountain is the most famous and
the biggest fountain with baroque style
in Italy. Because of its beautiful
structures, sometimes this place being a background for famous movie. Tourist usually
throw money to the fountain pond because they believe in the myth of this
fountain.
Trevi fountain was designed by Nicola Salvi and constructed
on 1732. The fountain finished on 1762. After Nicola Salvi died, Panini was
designed the story on the statue. And for your information, Trevi fountain is
the end of Aqua Virgo, a drains ancient that has drain the water supply since
400 last year.
Trevi Fountain has huge dimensions that is 26.3 m x 49.15 m
(86 ft x 161.3 ft) and decorated with many statue. The statue in the Trevi
Fountain is tell about taming of the water. In the center of this fountain, you
can find Neptune statue that was up the combat train shaped shells.in the left
side of Neptune that has statue of abudance that was pouring water from a vase.
And on the right side has salubrity that bring a glass of water that was drink
by a snake. And for the background it has an elegant palace.
In this fountain, sometimes the tourist just throw a coin
that they believe it can make them come back to trevi again and it can bring
you a lucky. I didn’t believe it but I will throw my coins if I’m in there
because the coin that I and other people throw is contribute to poor people
supermarket ot free supermarket. So, if we throw a coin that has meaning we
help each other to.
I like this place because I think this place is so nice and
amazing. The detail of the structures was very difficult to made and the story
or the meaning beside the architecture is so good and inspirate me. And, I hope
